Some pictures from our performance of Second Samuel by local playwright Pamela Parker, directed by seniors Jess and Xander. As a teacher, I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to see what Jess, Xander and the entire cast and crew accomplished. I am also so thankful that the students advocated for this play – they knew how wonderful, moving and relevant it is. If you are a theater teacher, you should strongly consider producing this play. It is important without being pretentious or preachy. It is one of the most humane plays I have ever been involved with.
